• 2013 & Newer Engines - OBD Testing
• 2012 & Older Engines - OVI Testing
• All inspections include a pre-test prior to submitting any data to CARB. 
• For CA registered vehicles, your due date depends on your registration renewal date. 
• For vehicles registered out of state, or EXEMPT Plates, the last digit of your VIN determines your inspection due dates. 

The Clean Truck Check Periodic Testing Requirement due dates DIFFER by truck and are based on each vehicle’s registration renewal date or last digit of the VIN.  This is not an inspection you can schedule whenever convenient. CARB only allow a submission 90 days ahead of each vehicle’s test due date. FleetCrew ALWAYS recommend getting your inspection completed at the TOP of the 90-day window, just in case your vehicle has any active MIL faults that require repairs. This allows you time to source and replacement any necessary components, accrue additional key cycle and run time mileage, so that a subsequent test may be performed, in the same 90-day window and pass. FleetCrew can only supply CARB passing results WITHIN your testing window. Not doing so will cause your vehicle to fall out of California Compliance and will not be permitted to operate in the state.
